By Car

The Sheraton Reston may easily be reached via I-95 or I-270. In any case, you need to get on I-495 heading west which is better know as the western part of the Washington Beltway. From there take exit 45A to VA 267 (better known as the Dulles Access Toll Road) west. Make sure you stay on the Toll Road part, otherwise you will end up at Dulles Airport! Follow 267 West ('All Local Exits') to Reston Parkway, Exit 12. Turn left on Reston Parkway to the 2nd light and then turn left again on Sunrise Valley Drive. The hotel is 1/4 mile further on the left.

By Plane

The Washington Metropolitan area is served by three excellent airports.

Washington Dulles Airport (IAD)

We recommend you fly into this airport.The Washington Dulles Airport is the largest airport in the area and is only 5 miles from the Sheraton Reston which provides free transportation to and from the airport. It does not have a Metrorail stop but offers the Washington Flyer Coach Service bus (About $8) to the West Falls Church Metrorail stop.

Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI)

The Baltimore-Washington International Airport is about 30 miles (about an hour drive) from the Sheraton Reston but in many cases has lower airfares. The Sheraton Reston does not provide courtesy service to BWI. Furthermore, like Dulles, it does not have a Metrorail stop. But MetroBus offers BWI Express Metro bus service between BWI and the Greenbelt Metrorail System station.

Via Metrorail/Dulles Airport (5 legs)

1. Take the BWI Express Metro bus from the BWI to the Greenbelt Metrorail System station.
2. Take the Green line south to L'Enfant Plaza station.
3. At L'Enfant Plaza, change to the Orange line heading west to Vienna. 
4. Get off at the West Falls Church station.
5. Take a Washington Flyer Coach Service bus (About $8) to Dulles Airport
6. Take the Sheraton Reston courtesy shuttle to the hotel.

Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA)

The Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport is about 20 miles from the Sheraton Reston, but The Sheraton Reston does not provide courtesy service to DCA. And while DCA has its own Metrorail System station, it can still be complicated to get to the Sheraton Reston.

1. Find the Metrorail System station at the airport.
2. Take the Blue line north to Roslyn.

5. Take a Washington Flyer Coach Service bus (About $8) to Dulles Airport
6. Take the Sheraton Reston courtesy shuttle to the hotel.
